All systems operational

Cloud storage that's insanely fast and actually private.

94 MB/s upload speeds. Zero-knowledge encryption. 12 global data centers. SpeedVault is the storage layer your team deserves — without sacrificing security.

Built for speed. Engineered for privacy.

Every feature in SpeedVault is designed from the ground up to deliver uncompromising performance without cutting corners on security.

94 MB/s Upload Speed

Our proprietary chunking and parallel transfer protocol achieves up to 94 MB/s on standard fibre connections — 6x faster than the industry average.

Zero-Knowledge Encryption

Files are encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM before they ever leave your device. We literally cannot read your data — and we designed it that way.

Global Edge Network

12 Points of Presence across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America. Files are cached at the edge for sub-50ms access anywhere.

Version History & Recovery

Every file change is preserved for 30 days (Pro) or 90 days (Team). Recover any version with one click — never lose work to accidental overwrites.

Team Collaboration

Shared workspaces with granular permission controls. Set view, comment, or edit access at the folder level. Activity logs show exactly who did what and when.

Smart Sync

Selective sync means files live where you need them. Keep everything in the cloud and pull only what you need — saving disk space without sacrificing access.

Frequently asked questions.

When you upload a file, your client generates a unique encryption key that never leaves your device. The file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is transmitted, and only the encrypted ciphertext reaches our servers. We store only the encrypted data and have no access to your encryption keys. This means that even if SpeedVault were legally compelled to hand over your files, we would be physically incapable of decrypting them. The trade-off is that if you lose your password, we cannot recover your files — which is why we encourage enabling account recovery options during setup.
Yes — limits depend on your plan. Free accounts support individual files up to 5 GB, Pro accounts support up to 50 GB per file, and Team accounts support up to 100 GB per file. These limits exist to ensure reliable transfer performance across our CDN. If you need to transfer files larger than 100 GB, contact our sales team about enterprise plans that support multi-TB transfers with dedicated bandwidth.
Yes. SpeedVault provides a migration tool that connects to your existing Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive account and transfers your files with all folder structures preserved. The migration runs in the background and does not require manual downloading and re-uploading. For Team accounts, we also offer a guided migration service where our engineering team handles the entire transfer and validates data integrity on completion.
SpeedVault operates 12 Points of Presence across North America (Oregon, Virginia, Montreal), Europe (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Stockholm), Asia-Pacific (Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney), and South America (São Paulo). Your files are stored in the region you select during onboarding, with the option to replicate data across additional regions for redundancy. Our CDN automatically serves cached content from the nearest PoP to reduce latency.
Yes. The SpeedVault desktop app supports offline access to files and folders you have marked as "available offline." Changes made while offline are queued locally and automatically synced to the cloud when connectivity is restored. Conflict resolution uses a "last writer wins" strategy with automatic version backup, so you never lose data even if multiple devices sync conflicting changes.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section in your account settings. There are no cancellation fees or early termination penalties. Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account automatically converts to the Free plan. We recommend downloading any files that exceed the Free tier storage limit before cancellation to avoid data loss.
Yes, SpeedVault supports two-factor authentication via TOTP-compatible authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.) as well as hardware security keys (WebAuthn/FIDO2). 2FA is highly recommended for all accounts and is required for Team workspaces with admin-managed security policies. You can enable it from the Security section of your account settings.
SpeedVault guarantees 99.99% service uptime as part of our Service Level Agreement (SLA). If we fall below this threshold in any calendar month, Pro and Team subscribers are eligible for service credits: 5% of the monthly fee for 99.0-99.99% uptime, 10% for 95.0-99.0%, and 25% for below 95%. Credits are automatically applied to your next billing cycle. You can track real-time system status on our Status page.
